National CSEC Merit List 2025 | The Ministry of Education is pleased to share Guyana’s National CSEC Merit List for the May/June 2025 examinations, officially released to the public today by the Minister of Education. This list highlights the top ten performers in each of the 35 subjects written in Guyana at the most recent CSEC sitting. While CXC publishes a regional merit list, the Minister believes it is also important for our nation to recognise excellence at home and publicly acknowledge the achievements of our students and schools.

The National Merit List reflects the discipline of our students, the dedication of teachers and the support of parents and guardians. It also demonstrates that high performance continues to emerge from schools in every region of Guyana, proving that talent and opportunity exist in every community.

The Ministry of Education extends sincere congratulations to every student who earned a place on this list. You worked for this, and Guyana celebrates you. We also recognise our educators and families whose dedication strengthens classrooms and helps students reach their full potential.

To the students preparing for the years ahead, set your goals high and commit yourselves to them. Study consistently, ask questions, use the support and resources around you, and strive not only to meet this standard but to surpass it.
