Yesterday, the Ministry of Education proudly celebrated the achievements of our 2026 National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) candidates as pupils from across Guyana received their results and embarked on the next chapter of their educational journey.

This year's results, with significant improvements recorded in every subject area and demographic, represent the strongest performance in the history of the National Grade Six Assessment, reflecting the continued progress being made across the education sector.

The occasion was made even more historic as a record-breaking 20 pupils attained the perfect score of 484.52, an unprecedented achievement that speaks to the dedication of our students, teachers, parents and guardians.

Congratulations to every NGSA candidate. Your hard work, perseverance and commitment have made your families, schools and country proud.
