While the first day of school is an exciting time for so many, it is also a period when many of our children are flooded with all kinds of emotions, especially our youngest nursery school babies who are leaving their parents for the very first time.
At Smyth Street Nursery, Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, took a few moments to listen to and soothe a very sweet child who was crying.
The heart-warming interaction ended in smiles, hugs and a little dance, with the little one even offering the Minister a bite of his lunch.
