A Night at the Opera

Last evening, Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, joined Prime Minister Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips and Cabinet Ministers for a spectacular Opera Night at the majestic St. George’s Cathedral.

Hosted by the Euro-Guyanese Classical Music and Opera Association, the event brought world-class classical music to this stunning historic setting.

The Ministry celebrates these incredible expressions of fine arts, which continue to enrich Guyana’s cultural and educational landscape.
