Applications Open for Cohort 2 of NELA Flagship Training Programme

Applications are now open for Cohort 2 of the National Education Leadership Academy (NELA) Flagship Training Programme!

The Ministry of Education is inviting school and district leaders who are committed to improving learning outcomes across Guyana to apply for the next cohort of the National Education Leadership Academy (NELA).

The programme is designed to strengthen leadership capacity, foster collaboration, and equip education leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to drive positive change within their schools and communities.

Applications are now open.

One hundred (100) leaders will be selected.

The programme begins in December 2026.
