Bath Community Holds Candlelight Vigil in Memory of Six-Year-Old Orlando Jaikarran
Last night, during a candlelight vigil and wake held in honour of six-year-old Orlando Jaikarran, the Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, emphasised the need for Guyana to return to a culture where every adult looked out for every child, regardless of biological relations.

The minister joined scores of residents, teachers and pupils of Bath and its surrounding communities to mourn the tragic loss and celebrate the bright light that he was.
Today, as Orlando is laid to rest, we pray that his beautiful little soul finds eternal rest.
