Best Results Ever” – Education Minister on NGSA 2025 Performance

“Guyana has done the best that it has ever done” - Education Minister Priya Manickchand says

The minister provided a breakdown of the scores achieved across subject areas from 2015 to 2025 and noted that these are the best results by far the country has seen.

Manickchand indicated that the overall pass rate has moved from 49 per cent to 63 per cent.

She attributed the improved performance to targeted investments made across the education sector.

This year, the highest achievable score at the NGSA is 487.88.
