CEO conducts Career Guidance and Leadership seminar for 80 boys

Today, Chief Education Officer Dr Marcel Hutson conducted a seminar on Career Guidance and Leadership at the New Amsterdam Multilateral School sponsored by USAID.

The seminar titled "Boys to Men" targeted 80 boys of the community with a view of pointing them in a direction that will allow them to live purpose driven and productive lives in their community.

The Doctor cited the alternative pathways available to the boys through the Ministry of Education for those who dropped out of school. He also pointed to available careers for those who have acquired CSEC subjects noting that teaching should be considered.

He encouraged the young men to dream and to live their dreams. He extended gratitude to Pastor Doreen of Grace Temple for her support and the United States Embassy for being instrumental in funding such a timely project.
