Champion Athlete – Boys Under 17

Corey Speede of Tutorial High School has been crowned Champion Athlete in the Boys Under-17 division at the National Secondary Schools Championships 2026.

Speede recorded winning performances in the 1500m and 3000m, along with a strong showing in the 800m.

Omari Welch of Corentyne Comprehensive Secondary School finished second, while Yaw Lamar of Mackenzie High School secured third place on the podium.
