On Thursday, the Guyana Digital School hosted its Physical Education Fun Day, marking the conclusion of its three-week Summer School Programme, which saw more than 5,000 students participating across the country.
Among those present was Director of School Health, Ms Jessica Anthony, who lauded the initiative for its holistic approach to student development, noting that it places importance not only on students’ physical health but also on their mental well-being. The Fun Day provided students with an opportunity to step outside the classroom, get active and engage with their peers, reinforcing the programme’s broader focus on supporting the academic, physical and mental development of children.
