The Department of Education, Georgetown officially launched its Regional Children’s Mashramani Competitions on Monday at the National Cultural Centre, celebrating creativity, culture, and youthful expression.
Delivering brief remarks, Chief Planning Officer Ms. Misckha White-Griffith reminded students that Mashramani is more than a celebration, it is a platform where young artists, creators, and dreamers showcase who we are as a people and imagine Guyana’s future.
She highlighted the importance of creativity in building the Orange Economy, noting that talents in music, art, dance, storytelling, and digital expression are not just hobbies, but powerful tools for future careers and national development.
Under the theme “Little Builders of One Guyana: Learning Together, Shaping Our Digital Tomorrow,” students were encouraged to dream boldly, create fearlessly, and let Mashramani be the launchpad for their greatness.
