Each child will benefit from a $200,000 grant, marking one of the most significant education-related investments in Guyana’s history.
President Dr. Irfaan Ali explained that once the PPP/C is re-elected, the widely utilised “Because We Care” cash grant will be increased to $100,000 per child, while a new $100,000 transportation grant will be introduced to ease the burden on families, especially in hinterland and remote communities.
