Education Minister Attends World Bank Reception in Guyana

Last evening, Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, joined by Chief Planning Officer Mrs. Mishka White-Griffith, attended a reception hosted by The World Bank Group at the Guyana Marriott Hotel.

The event celebrated the visit of World Bank Caribbean Division Director Achim Fock, welcomed incoming Acting Representative Juan Carlos Alvarez, and honored outgoing Representative Diletta Doretti.

Guyana continues to value its strong partnership with the World Bank and key stakeholders in driving national progress.
