Education Notice Cyril Potter College of Education- Technical Teacher Education and Training Academic Year 2018-2019

The Cyril Potter College of Education (CPCE) in collaboration with the Government Technical Institute (GTI) invites technical teachers, lecturers/instructors of secondary and post- secondary institutions to apply for a one (1) year Associate Degree Programme in Technical Teacher Education.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess the following minimum requirements:

i) The Guyana Technical Education Examination (GTEE) Technician Certificate Part II or equivalent;

ii) Evidence of at least two hundred (200) hours of industrial experience.

Note:

2. Classes will be conducted on Fridays and Saturdays at CPCE, Turkeyen, and GTI, Woolford Avenue.

3. Only applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be considered and contacted.

Application forms can be uplifted from the Administrative offices of the TVET Institutions or from the Ministry of Education website www.education.gov.gy

All applicants from technical institutions must return completed forms through the Principals/Administrators of the TVET Institutions to:

All other applicants must submit completed application forms to Heads of Education Departments or the CPCE Turkeyen office no later than June 22, 2018.

Closing date for submission of applications is June 22, 2018.
