Education Sector Engaged in Labour Law Review Consultations

Guyana’s education sector was among the latest stakeholders engaged in consultations on the review of the country’s labour laws today, Friday, September 18, 2026.

Consultant Her Excellency Deborah Thomas-Felix and other officials met with Dr. Ritesh Tularam, Deputy Chief Education Officer – Technical, and other officials of the Ministry of Education, as discussions continue across key sectors.

The consultation provided another opportunity to gather sector-specific input to help inform the review process.
