First Smart Classroom in Region Six commissioned at the New Amsterdam Secondary School

The first smart classroom in Region Six at a public school was officially commissioned this morning at the New Amsterdam Secondary School by the Honourable Minister of Education Priya Manickchand.

The smart classroom will now serve to improve education delivery within the school and also benefit other schools within the region and across Guyana.

The school will be able to connect with the teachers and students of other schools to participate in classes to ensure the continuity of learning.

Minister Manickchand expressed her happiness of the room being available for use and encouraged all teachers that teach the various subjects to use the room to their advantage and the benefit of students.

The smart classroom is the 6th in the country to be commissioned.
