Today, several schools visited the museums in Georgetown to experience the rich cultural traditions of a Guyanese Christmas through special exhibits arranged by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.
Students explored the vibrant masquerade display at the National Museum, the Kwanzaa exhibit at the Museum of African History, and the special pepperpot showcase at the Walter Roth Museum of Anthropology, each highlighting unique aspects of our festive heritage.
These exhibitions are open to the public and will run until December 24, 2025.
