Grade Six and Grade 11 learners are continuing their studies throughout the Easter holiday as they prepare for the upcoming National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) and Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations.

Although public schools are officially closed, teachers from 410 primary schools have committed to providing targeted lessons for their Grade Six pupils. Similar efforts are also underway across the country for CSEC students.

While a strong focus remains on Mathematics, teachers are tailoring their work programmes to address specific weaknesses identified in the recent mock examination results.

Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, has expressed sincere gratitude to the educators who have pledged their time and effort to supporting learners during this auspicious Easter period.
