It was announced on Thursday last by the Honourable Minister of Education Priya Manickchand that a consolidated curriculum was crafted by the National Centre for Educational Resource Development (NCERD) and international consultants to be used as a resource document for grade six teachers preparing students to write the 2021 NGSA.

She said that this consolidated curriculum intends to ensure equity and equality in the education system. The topics in the curriculum were extracted from the existing curriculum. It will help teachers to better understand the boundaries as they prepare learners for the examination.
