The Ministry of Education extends heartfelt thanks to our dedicated logistics team, whose efforts ensured that this year’s Cash Grant distribution process was both efficient and seamless.
We proudly recognize and applaud the leadership and coordination displayed across the regions, and thank especially our Deputy Chief Education Officer (Administration), Ms. Tiffany Favorite-Harvey for seeing this process through with determination, dedication and excellence.
Region 1: Led by Mr. Marti DeSouza, Deputy Chief Education Officer (DCEO) responsible for Amerindian & Hinterland Education and Development.
Region 2: Headed by Dr. Ritesh Tularam, DCEO responsible for Technical Education.
Region 3: Led by Mr. Saddam Hussain, Chief Education Officer and our ACEO Inspectorate, Ms. Renita Barnes.
Region 4 (East Coast): Managed by Ms. Stembiso Grant, our ACEO responsible for Literacy.
Region 4 (East Bank): Coordinated by Ms. Tiffany Favorite-Harvey, DCEO- Administration, and Mr. Colwyn Delph, Education Officer I, responsible for the East Bank. Ms. Favorite-Harvey also served as the Lead Logistics Officer for the entire Cash Grant initiative. Thank you!
Georgetown: Led by Ms. Oma Ramdin, Director of the National Centre for Educational Resource Development (NCERD).
Region 5: Led by DCEO Mr. Deonarine Hardat and Ms. Tracy Crawford.
Region 6: Led by Mr. Sherwyn Blackman, ACEO-Secondary, and Ms. Volika Jaikishun, Deputy Chief Efucation Officer and also Director of School Boards.
Region 7: Led by Mrs. Marcia Paddy-Andrews, ACEO-Technical.
Region 8: Led by Mr. Rabindra Singh, ACEO-Primary.
Region 9: Led by Mr. Devendra Persaud, ACEO-Nursery.
Region 10: Led by Ms. Abeeda Ali and Mr. Whentworth Tanner, Director of School Distribution Services.
We also thank all the Headteachers, teachers, ancillary staff and PTAs for all their efforts.
