As part of the Ministry of Education Math Intervention programme, several hinterland and riverine secondary schools are now connected and are participating in LIVE online Mathematics sessions.
This initiative advances the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen Mathematics education and guarantee that hinterland students receive equitable access to quality instruction.
Through this new system, online teachers can see and interact with students in real time using smart boards. Students can also demonstrate their work on the boards, supported by a teacher who is physically present in each classroom to provide supervision and assistance.
The connected schools include: Matthews Ridge Secondary, Kamwatta Primary Top, Baramita Primary Top, Kwebanna Secondary, Waramuri Secondary, Kabakaburi Secondary, Orealla Secondary, Mahdia Secondary, Kato Secondary, Sand Creek Secondary, Nappi Secondary, Katoka Secondary, Massarra Secondary, Maruranau Secondary, Karasabai Secondary, Dora Secondary, and St. Cuthbert’s Secondary.
