Today, trainee teachers from the hinterland communities of Shea, Maruranau, Awarewana, Aishalton, Karaudarnau, Achawib, and Parabara logged into a virtual training session on the usage of Moodle to access educational resources hosted by the Cyril Potter College of Education.
Moodle is a Learning Management System (LMS) aimed at delivering training and providing personalized learning environments to students and educators online. The intention is to give trainees in the hinterlands access to Moodle so they may supplement printed curriculum with online learning opportunities. These online resources will also be made available to Hinterland lecturers.
