Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, this evening held a successful outreach with parents and teachers of Annandale, East Coast Demerara.

The attendees were all able to raise their concerns with Minister Parag, who, in turn, provided on-the-spot solutions.

The Education Minister plans to host similar engagements all across the country to hear directly from the teachers, parents, and even students themselves.

She was accompanied by Chief Education Officer, Mr. Saddam Hussain; Deputy Chief Education Officer - Admin, Ms Tiffany Harvey; Deputy Chief Education Officer - Technical, Dr Ritesh Tularam; Assistant Chief Education Officer - Secondary, Mr Sherwyn Blackman; Assistant Chief Education Officer - Primary, Mr Rabrindra Singh; Assistant Chief Education Officer - Nursery, Mr Davendra Singh; Regional Education Officer Region Four, Ms Kean Adams, and other education officers.
