Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education today received a courtesy call from the U.S. Ambassador to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Ms. Nicole D. Theriot.

The Ambassador is making her rounds to meet with all of the newly appointed Ministers to discuss further areas of cooperation.

Her talks with Minister Parag surrounded Guyana’s upward trajectory and the importance of the education sector in advancing all areas of life in the country.

Both Ms. Theriot and Minister Parag have committed to strengthening partnerships to expand academic and professional opportunities for the people of Guyana.
