Hosororo Secondary to Accommodate Over 500 Students

Soon, the Hosororo Secondary School will be able to accommodate at least 475 students currently being taught at the Hosororo Primary Top, along with 53 students from the Wauna Primary Top.

A team from the Ministry of Education and the Regional Democratic Council did a follow-up visit today to ensure all are in place to facilitate the students and teachers.

This development is another step in fulfilling the Government of Guyana’s commitment to ensuring every child has access to quality education, regardless of location.

With continued investments in education infrastructure across hinterland and riverine communities, Universal Secondary Education is steadily being realised in Guyana.
