Hot Lunches Served as NGSA Ends

As our Grade Six pupils completed their NGSA exams today, hot lunches were served across the country. This reflects the Government of Guyana’s strong commitment, led by President Dr. Irfaan Ali, to equity and opportunity for all.

Minister of Education, the Honourable Priya Manickchand stated, “We’ve made major strides in preparing our pupils for this day. From better classrooms and more trained teachers to school meals and transportation in the hinterland, we are seeing the results.”

We have worked hard to ensure every child, no matter where they live, has the nourishment and support to thrive. That commitment remains firm and will only grow stronger.
