KFC Grandstand Commissioned at MoE Ground

Last evening, the KFC Grandstand, funded by KFC Guyana and procured by the Petra Organization was officially commissioned at the Ministry of Education recreational ground. Deputy Chief Education Officer with responsibility for Amerindian and Hinterland Education Development, Mr. Marti DeSouza was in attendance.

The roofed pavilion, with seating for 420, will benefit thousands of students, teachers, and school communities through Ministry of Education sporting activities, Petra’s School Football Programmes, and other school events, giving students a space to develop teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The commissioning was timely as it comes just ahead of the 6th KFC Goodwill Schools Football Programme which will be hosted from December 14 to 21, 2025.
