Literacy July/August Vacation Camps

The Ministry of Education, through the National Literacy Department and the Regional Literacy Coordinators is conducting a series of literacy camps during the July/August vacation period in Regions Two, Four, Five, Six, Nine, Ten, and Education district Georgetown.

The camps are designed to promote and build literacy skills among learners ages 5-15. They include special attractions such as art and craft, storytelling, games, and health and family life education skill-building activities.

Parents are encouraged to have their children take advantage of the opportunity to improve their reading and writing skills by sending them to the Literacy Camp closest to them!
