Education Minister Priya Manickchand on Tuesday introduced the “Guyana Digital School”, an online platform designed to provide Grades 10 and 11 students with access to CSEC learning materials.

The platform was introduced at St. Rose’s High School and the North Ruimveldt Multilateral School in Georgetown and is expected to transform education delivery in Guyana through technology and digital learning tools, the education Ministry stated.

By way of a live video recording on the Ministry’s Facebook page Manickchand emphasized that the initiative aligns with President Irfaan Ali’s vision of equalizing education access, ensuring that high-quality lessons are available to all students, not just those who can afford private tutoring. She highlighted the importance of bridging educational gaps, particularly for students in remote areas who may not have access to extra lessons.
