Earlier today, the Honourable Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand, officially commissioned the "Edward Mohamed Pool" at the Regional Special Education Needs/Disability Diagnostic and Treatment Centre, located at the Cyril Potter College of Education Turkeyen Campus.

This aquatic therapy pool is designed to support learners with sensory coordination and muscle-strength challenges, while also fostering opportunities for social interaction. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in improving balance and posture, particularly for blind and visually impaired individuals.

The project was funded by Teddy Mohammed, a Trinidadian proprietor of Caribbean Educational Publishers, and is currently utilized by 81 learners with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.
