PRESS RELEASE | Honourable Minister of Education Priya Manickchand hosts Guyanese Law Students during Trinidad visit for CXC Ministerial Summit.
The Honourable Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand, hosted 65 of Guyana's 72 law students from both the first and second years at the Hugh Wooding Law School in St. Augustine for dinner, during her visit for the CXC’s 4th Ministerial Summit in Trinidad and Tobago. Joining the Honourable Minister were Ms. Vonetta Victor, Guyana’s Consul General, and Mr. Ganga Singh, Director of Trade, Investment, and Agriculture. Minister Manickchand and the law students engaged in open discussions where Minister Manickchand emphasized the necessity for diligence and sacrifice when studying and a faithful following of the constitution, Guyana’s most supreme law upon graduation and during practice
