Minister Manickchand Visits Adrianna Younge’s Family

This afternoon, Minister of Education and Parliamentary Geographical Representative of Region 3, Ms. Priya Manickchand visited Amecia and Subryan Younge, the parents of 11 year old Adrianna Younge, and community members after the grade six child was found deceased in a pool at Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo.

Minister Manickchand was in contact with the family since early this morning offering hope and prayers that Adrianna would be found and would be well.

The Ministry of Education mourns with the family, community and nation at large and expects that answers will be forthcoming as to the circumstances surrounding this terrible loss.
