Minister Parag attends Cubana Air Disaster commemoration

Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education and Minister Within the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Steven Jacobs are currently attending a commemoration ceremony for the 49th Anniversary of the Cubana Air Disaster, which occurred on October 6, 1976, just off Barbados.

The terrorist bombing of Cubana de Aviación Flight 455 killed all 73 persons onboard, including 11 Guyanese medical students en route to Cuba.
