Minister Parag commissions new block at Mahaicony TVET, boosting capacity to 500+
Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, recently commissioned a new teaching block at the Mahaicony TVET Centre, moving the facility’s occupancy from just over 300 to more than 500.

Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, recently commissioned a new teaching block at the Mahaicony TVET Centre, moving the facility’s occupancy from just over 300 to more than 500.
The expansion will bring more skills training opportunities to persons all across the Mahaica-Berbice region.
Minister Parag has emphasised the Government’s commitment to ensuring every region has at least one high-functioning TVET Centre.
