Minister Parag Inspects Expansion Works at Bush Lot Secondary School

On Tuesday, the Honourable Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, visited Bush Lot Secondary School in West Coast Berbice, Region Five, to inspect ongoing expansion works.

Minister Parag engaged the contractor on several short-term deadlines to ensure that the project remains on schedule. “I just need to ensure it is completed on time,” Minister Parag insisted.

The contractor, in committing to a timely completion, also assured that all machinery and working materials would be cordoned off and kept at a safe distance away from the children.

Minister Parag was accompanied on her site visit by Regional Chairman, Recardo Phillips; Former Member of Parliament, Faizal Jaffarally; Regional Executive Officer, Sadiek Ishmael; and Senior Regional Engineer, Dhanpaul Sukha.

The Government of Guyana, through the Ministry of Education, remains committed to providing modern facilities that improve the quality of education for all students across the length and breadth of Guyana.
