Minister Parag Mourns With Family of MV Barima Victims

From Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education: It is most heartbreaking today to witness Nathaniel Matabheek bid farewell to his wife, Rachel Wells, and their three children: Nathan, Nathalia and Eziekiel.

The tragedy of the MV Barima has profoundly impacted us all, and we cannot begin to imagine the pain it has brought to the victims and all of their families.

We continue to share in this immense grief and pray that the Almighty gives us all the strength to process it.

May their beautiful souls find eternal rest.
