In Paris today, Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, participated in discussions of UNESCO's External Affairs Commission.

Talks focused primarily on the preservation of cultural heritage in the context of globalisation and climate change.

The Minister is currently in France representing Guyana at the 225th Session of the UNESCO Executive Board.
