Yesterday, the Honourable Minister of Education, Sonia Parag, visited the Guyana Digital School Hub at Cotton Field, Region Two, where she engaged with staff and explored the facility designed to expand access to quality education.
Located in the Government Services Building, the hub operates Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 9.00 pm and is equipped with 22 laptops, creating a dedicated space for students to connect, learn and grow.
‘Access to education must never be limited by geography’, Minister Parag noted, emphasizing the importance of digital access in today’s learning environment.
The hub will play a vital role in helping students across the Pomeroon-Supenaam region seamlessly access free lessons on a number of subject areas, ranging from mathematics and biology to English language and social studies.
The GDS is bridging gaps and ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to stay connected and succeed.
