In addition to activating a multi-stakeholder task force and requiring regional and school officials to submit photos of every school, Minister Parag is on the ground herself to ensure that our children are able to return to classrooms that are clean, conducive and safe.

Her first stops included West End Nursery, Mahaicony Primary, Mahaicony Secondary and its adjacent dormitory.

Minister Parag was able to engage directly with the teachers, the cleaners and contractors who are working on extensions for these schools.

Accompanying the minister were the Regional Executive Officer, Ms Mary Samaroo and Regional Education Officer, Ms Selestine LaRose.
