Minister Sonia Parag Attends National Youth Debating Competition Finals

Yesterday, Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, attended the Finals of The Speaker's National Youth Debating Competition 2026.

She joined her Cabinet colleagues, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson Jr., and Minister of Labour and Manpower Planning, Keoma Griffith, along with other members of Cabinet, members of the diplomatic corps, and distinguished guests for the highly anticipated finals.

The competition showcased the exceptional talent, confidence and critical thinking of Guyana's youth, highlighting the importance of fostering informed, articulate and engaged future leaders.
