Minister Sonia Parag Engages Region One Communities During Cabinet Outreach

As part of an extensive Cabinet outreach to Region One, Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, this afternoon met with residents of Thomas Hill, Khan Hill and Almond Beach at the Almond Beach Primary School.

The team listened to community concerns, addressing several issues on the spot while forwarding all other matters to the relevant ministries and agencies for action.

Minister Parag was accompanied by Member of Parliament, Ms. Geeta Chandan-Edmond, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Ms. Shannielle Hoosein-Outar, and the Chief Education Officer, Mr. Saddam Hussain.

Similar engagements were held earlier this morning with the residents of Bumbury and Wanaina.

These community-level interventions, led by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, remain a hallmark of the administration, with more outreaches scheduled for various regions in the coming weeks.
