Ministry of Education Jingle Competition for Guyana Online Academy of Learning (GOAL)

As promised, the Government of Guyana will be offering 20,000 scholarships to Guyanese from globally recognized universities. This will be done through the Guyana Online Academy of Learning (GOAL) which will be launched soon to enhance human capacity development in Guyana through access to educational opportunities irrespective of location.

The objectives of the Academy are:

• To make diverse fully online educational programmes accessible to the population.

• To provide a platform for the development of open and online teaching/learning materials in Guyana.

• To broker opportunities for open and online educational programmes with reputable regional and international educational institutions and at affordable costs for offering in Guyana

• To develop standards for the development and delivery of open and online programmes in Guyana.

We are hereby calling on persons to participate in our jingle competition for GOAL and compete for the grand prize of $150,000. The competition is open to all amateur and professional persons. All entries submitted must be original and should not infringe on third-party copyrights. The jingle must not exceed 45 seconds.
