"Ministry of Education Mourns Loss of Two Teachers in Region Ten"

PRESS STATEMENT

The Ministry of Education is deeply saddened to learn of the tragic deaths of two teachers from Region Ten. Our hearts go out to their families, friends, colleagues, and the entire community during this difficult time.

Mr. Dwaylon Farrell, Graduate Head of Department for Industrial Technology at the New Silvercity Secondary School, and Ms. Rushell Leacock, A Graduate Senior Mistress of Kwakwani Primary School lost their lives in a vehicular accident on the Linden Soesdyke Highway where three other persons lost their lives.

These educators dedicated their lives to shaping the minds and futures of our youth. Their passion for teaching and commitment have left an indelible mark on the lives of countless students.

As a ministry, we extend our sincerest condolences and stand ready to offer any support and assistance needed to those affected by this tragedy.
