Ministry of Education Mourns the Passing of Dr. Rovin Deodat, AA

The Ministry of Education joins with Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, in extending our sincerest condolences to the relatives, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers on the passing of veteran broadcaster and communications specialist Dr. Rovin Deodat, AA.

Aside from his prolific 30+ years of broadcasting experience, Dr. Deodat was best known for his long-running radio programme, “From Word to Word with Rovin Deodat”.

It was a programme that influenced the lives of countless children, getting them excited about learning new words and expanding their vocabulary.

The Ministry of Education is forever grateful for that indelible contribution.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time.

May his legacy continue to inspire future generations, and may he rest in peace.
