#ThisIsUs | "During my profession as a teacher, the opportunity to touch so many lives has been a great reward. The quote, “choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”, suits me because teaching puts a smile on my face every time I get to inspire my students.
Teaching, for me, is not only limited to the classroom but within my home as well. I am a mother of two daughters and I have four wonderful grandchildren who I get to inspire every day.
As much as I love teaching, I have decided to retire from this noble profession on August 1st, 2021, after giving thirty-three years of service. The memories I hold will last a lifetime and I hope to continue my journey of inspiring others outside of the classroom."
This is a series highlighting students and teachers across Guyana
