The Ministry of Education continues to advance its comprehensive Anti-Bullying and Anti-Violence Campaign in schools across Guyana, prioritizing safe, nurturing spaces where every learner can thrive.

This initiative recognizes that addressing bullying requires ongoing engagement, strong policy, and a united effort from all stakeholders in education.

As part of this nationwide movement, our team recently traveled to Region Seven to interact directly with students and teachers at St. John the Baptist Primary, St. Anthony’s Primary, Agatash Primary, Potaro Primary, Two Miles Primary, and Three Miles Secondary.

These sessions provided opportunities for open dialogue, empowering learners to speak up and strengthening the support systems within each school community.

The Ministry remains committed to listening and responding. We encourage the public to actively participate by reporting incidents of bullying and sharing meaningful recommendations on what they believe should be included in the Anti-Bullying and Anti-Violence Policy currently being developed.

Together, we can ensure that respect, empathy, and understanding define every student’s journey. Let us all stand against bullying. ?
