MoE confirms burnt breakfast claims are false

The Ministry of Education (MoE) wishes to clarify that recent social media reports alleging the distribution of burnt meals under the National Breakfast Programme are entirely false.

Following a comprehensive investigation that included a review of helpdesk logs, teachers’ feedback, and mandatory daily photographic records from caterers, no evidence was found to support these claims.

The images being circulated are mischievous and a gross misrepresentation of our school feeding programme.

The Ministry of Education remains committed to maintaining strict nutritional standards and we encourage the public to use our official helpdesk to report any legitimate concerns: 707-1199.
