In the coming years, more and more secondary schools across the country will be outfitted with AutoCAD Laboratories, ensuring that students have access to advanced design technology, allowing them to shift seamlessly from traditional pen and paper to modern, digital engineering and architectural design.

This nationwide expansion builds on a $65 million project dedicated to establishing these specialised labs across six initial secondary schools. The modern facilities have already been commissioned at the Abram Zuil Secondary School and Bygeval Secondary School, giving students immediate access to industry-standard tools.

The rollout will continue shortly, with the remaining four laboratories slated to be commissioned at the North Ruimveldt Secondary School, Hope Secondary School, Zeeburg Secondary School and New Amsterdam Multilateral School.

Through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), we continue to nurture the next generation of thinkers, builders and innovators.
