This morning, Devendre Persaud, Assistant Chief Education Officer, visited Smith Memorial Primary School as part of the National Feeding Programme — Breakfast for Success. During his visit, he interacted with students while they enjoyed their breakfast, ensuring that meals are nutritious and served in a welcoming environment.
Each child was provided with a fruit bowl, promoting healthy eating habits and supporting their readiness to learn. The students expressed their happiness, sharing that they look forward to receiving breakfast each morning from the Ministry of Education.
This initiative continues to focus on nourishing young minds, because a healthy start is a strong start to learning and growth.
