The Ministry of Education, through NCERD, continued supporting the implementation of the new Grade 5 curriculum with training sessions for Region 4 teachers from both public and private schools from September 7–10 and 14–17, 2026.
The sessions focused on strengthening teachers’ understanding of the new curriculum, National Learning Outcomes (NLOs), effective teaching strategies, and curriculum delivery approaches.
Through this training, teachers are being better equipped to confidently deliver the new curriculum and provide meaningful learning experiences for our Grade 5 pupils.
